Description

• Intercoms are communication systems that allow residents to interact with visitors, delivery personnel, or building management from the comfort of their apartments. These systems typically include audio and/or video capabilities, enabling secure and convenient access control. Residents can remotely unlock doors, screen visitors, and enhance overall safety. Intercoms improve communication within multi-unit buildings, streamline access management, and provide an added layer of security for both tenants and property management.

Baseline

• Install new duplex, 20 amp, 120 volt receptacle within 6 feet of new interior intercom.  
• Wireless access point enclosure for new intercom shall be wall mounted as high as possible while maintaining operability of enclosure door. Mounting height of enclosure shall not exceed 10 feet. 

Stretch

• Install in-unit intercom system. [COMPMOD]
