Description

• Intercoms are communication systems that allow residents to interact with visitors, delivery personnel, or building management from the comfort of their apartments. These systems typically include audio and/or video capabilities, enabling secure and convenient access control. Residents can remotely unlock doors, screen visitors, and enhance overall safety. Intercoms improve communication within multi-unit buildings, streamline access management, and provide an added layer of security for both tenants and property management.

Baseline

• Install new duplex, 20A, 120V receptacle within 6′-0″ of new interior intercom.  
• Wireless access point enclosure for new intercom shall be wall mounted as high as possible while maintaining operability of enclosure door. Mounting height of enclosure shall not exceed 10′-0″. 

Stretch

• Install in-unit intercom system. [COMPMOD]
